Dr. Andy Tay is one of 60 faculty selected internationally for the Interstellar Initiative organised by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development and New York Academy of Sciences. His team comprising of Dr. Zakaria Almsherqi, lecturer from NUS, and Dr. Naotoshi Nakamura, associate professor from Osaka University, have received a research grant for their project to rejuvenate senile T cells using lipid-based supplements. Their submission was also selected as one of the top projects.
