Assistant Professor Eliza Fong awarded the prestigious NMRC-OF Individual Research Grant

We are extremely proud that Assistant Professor Eliza Fong has just been awarded the prestigious NMRC-OF Individual Research Grants (IRGs) for the July 2022 call!

Dr. Fong will be investigating the use of biomaterials engineering approaches to maintain patient-derived tumor explants ex vivo for personalized drug testing.

Assistant Professor Eliza Fong’s research featured in the Straits Times

Assistant Professor Eliza Fong’s team develops new platform that significantly reduces drug testing and screening time for cancer patients In collaboration with the National Cancer Centre Singapore, Dr. Fong and team have developed a novel platform that can significantly reduce the time needed to determine the efficacy of anti-cancer drugs. In this first-of-its-kind technology, patient tumours
