Dr. Suhito wins the ASEAN-ROK award for Excellence in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) Pioneer category. Dr. Suhito is a research fellow in Prof. Andy Tay’s lab (lab homepage) in department of biomedical engineering. This annual award is given by the government of Republic of Korea (ROK) in support of Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to encourage young scientists to actively contribute on research in STI for promoting the socio-economic development of both countries. This award is open to professionals in any field of natural sciences or engineering and facilitates the collaborative research between ROK and ASEAN member state. The prize is sponsored by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and ICT (MSIT) of the Republic of Korea.
