Dr Jin Yueming awarded Robert Brown Promising Researcher Award

NUS BME is pleased to share that Dr. Jin Yueming, has been awarded the Robert Brown Promising Researcher Award under the Ministry of Education Singapore (MOE) Academic Research Fund (AcRF) Tier 2 Grant.

As part of the AcRF Tier 2 grant, her project about “AI-AR-Enabled Navigation Platform for Clinical Treatment,” will receive funding to develop innovative artificial intelligence and augmented reality methods to enhance precision and effectiveness in clinical procedures, with potential to drive the next generation of healthcare innovation.

In addition to the Tier 2 award, Dr Jin will receive a S$100,000 top-up grant through the Robert Brown Promising Researcher Award to further support the advancement of her research programme.

The award recognises exceptional early-career researchers who demonstrate strong potential to lead impactful and internationally competitive research. Established to support junior faculty members, , it enables recipients to deepen their research and strengthen their capabilities to compete for larger-scale grants as they advance in their academic careers. Named in honour of Robert Brown, the award highlights researchers poised to make significant contributions to Singapore’s research and innovation ecosystem.
