Join Us for Our Landmark Anniversary!

Dear Students, Alumni, Staff and Friends of the Department,

2025 marks a monumental year for us as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of our esteemed Civil & Environmental Engineering Department. Over the decades, we’ve witnessed incredible achievements, from groundbreaking research to alumni who have played pivotal roles in nation-building. This milestone is not just a reflection of our past, but a beacon guiding our future.

To commemorate this historic occasion, we have planned an exciting lineup of events that will bring together our vibrant community:

**70th Anniversary Logo Design Competition**: This showcases the creativity of our alumni, students and staff to design a logo that represents our journey and future. The winning design will be the face of our 70th-anniversary celebrations! We have received more than 40 submissions as of 15 Aug 2024. We will reveal the winners in the coming months.

**Celebrate 70 Years of NUS CEE: Share Your Photos!**: We’re on the hunt for memorable moments captured through the years. Whether it’s photos from commencement, graduation dinners, social events, orientation camps, rag and flag, class and lab sessions, design competitions, field trips, or student club activities - we want them all! Share your snapshots and be part of our journey down memory lane!

**International Conference & Exhibition**: In collaboration with IES and PEB, this event will highlight the cutting-edge innovations and contributions our department and our international counterparts have made on a global scale.  Join us as we honour the incredible accomplishments of our CEE family members who have made significant contributions to nation-building. This exhibition will inspire current and prospective students alike. We will also be hosting special sessions aimed at inspiring the next generation of engineers. Let's show them the limitless possibilities that await them!

**Alumni & Donor Dinner Gathering (November 2025)**: Reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and relive cherished memories at our grand alumni dinner. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss!

**CDE Charity Golf Event**: In partnership with the CDE Dean's Office, we’ll be hosting a charity golf event to raise funds for bursaries. It’s a great way to give back while enjoying a day on the greens.

We invite each of you to participate in these events and join us in celebrating our rich legacy and promising future. This is not just a celebration—it’s a tribute to the collective spirit that has shaped our department and will continue to drive us forward.
