This year has been one of growth, innovation, and resilience. From pioneering research in cutting-edge technologies to our students excelling in hackathons, conferences, and competitions, the achievements of our ECE family have been truly inspiring.
To our faculty and staff, thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence in education, research, and mentoring. Your tireless efforts to nurture our students and advance the frontiers of engineering have made ECE a hub of innovation and creativity.
To our students, you are at the heart of everything we do. Your curiosity, determination, and passion for learning drive us forward. We are immensely proud of your achievements this year, whether it’s in academics, research, or extracurricular pursuits. You are shaping the future of engineering, and we look forward to supporting you on this journey.

Highlights of 2024
New Second Major and Minor in Computing (CDE)
This new programme is designed to equip prospective students with the relevant interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to stay ahead of the curve. The programme includes a science-based core and an extensive basket of applied electives through which students can customise their learning to suit their interests. This opens up possible career opportunities in fields such as AI/data engineering, UI/UX design, and even game development!

CEG Student clinched grand prize at the NUS Innovation Day (Impact Accelerator Challenge)
Sparsh, a dedicated Computer Engineering student, exemplifies the balance between academic excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. His innovative pursuits recently earned him the prestigious S$100,000 grand prize at the NUS Innovation Day (Impact Accelerator Challenge) for his groundbreaking startup, Incy Tech. Motivated by the global energy crisis, Sparsh and his team are pioneering transformative solutions like the Thermal Floater. This cutting-edge technology seeks to overcome geographical and economic barriers, paving the way for a more sustainable and equitable energy future for communities worldwide.
