MSc (MOTI) student - Darryl Han
Completing his Master of Science in Management of Technology and Innovation (MSc. MOTI) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Darryl found a unique program that bridged his engineering background with business aspirations in Asia's tech ecosystem. The program offered a tech-focused curriculum that went beyond traditional business fundamentals, featuring hands-on modules in new product development and frugal innovation that he continues to apply in his work today.
A pivotal moment in his journey came through the NUS Overseas College programme, which took him to Ho Chi Minh City for a 6-month immersion. What began as an internship at Quqo transformed into a full-time role as growth manager, head of product marketing and eventually chief of staff - where he drove business growth, managed investor relations, and led product development initiatives across Vietnam and Thailand. During this period, he also co-founded LFG with his batchmates, initially as a side project before transitioning to it full-time in 2024.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Darryl held strategic positions at BHP Australia and Grab Singapore, where the program's flexibility allowed him to complete a full-time internship during his second semester. The combination of his master's education, overseas immersion, and professional experience has equipped him with a unique perspective on technology innovation and business development in Southeast Asia.
"The MOTI program offered exactly what I was looking for - an MBA-like experience with a strong technology focus," Darryl reflects. "The program's flexibility and practical approach, combined with the transformative NOC experience, didn't just enhance my career - it fundamentally changed its trajectory. The frameworks and methodologies I learned continue to influence how I approach business challenges and innovation today."
