Other members of the team include NGS PhD students Wang Xin and Li Wenkai.

The final competition was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 28 March 2018. Judging criteria was based on innovation, originality, design, mutual benefit, quality, technical feasibility, sustainability and presentation.

Seven finalist teams converged in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia over a 4-day period, facing a panel of 9 judges, who assessed the teams’ AR / IoT solutions based on technical and scientific merits as well as management and entrepreneurial skills on how to implement the concept successfully in the industry. The assessment was done in two rounds – first round on scientific merits, and the second on implementation plans.

The winning team will receive air fare and a five-night stay at one of Hilti’s strategic IT locations, and they will have the opportunity to learn about Hilti IT services and build their Hilti network.
