Research Interests
Rheology of Granular Mixtures
Investigating and modelling the effect of microscale properties (particle size distribution, particle shape, moisture content, static electricity etc.) on the bulk behaviour of a granular
mixture.

Discrete Element Method Modelling
Investigating how changes in different aspects (hard-sphere vs soft-sphere, force contact model, energy dissipation, integration scheme etc.) of a typical DEM numerical simulation manifest in the results and affect the accuracy/efficiency of DEM as a computational tool.
