Undergrad project turned spin-off BeeX receives defence investment funding for underwater autonomous tech

NUS engineering undergraduate project turned spin-off company, BeeX, has clinched a seven-figure seed funding from Cap Vista, the strategic investment arm of Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA). Congrats!

BeeX, an underwater autonomous systems startup, was founded by NUS mechanical engineering alumna Ms Grace Chia, and computer engineering alumnus Mr Goh Eng Wei. Their R&D in underwater self-driving technology aims to minimise the need for human involvement in performing large-scale underwater operations.
