Dr. Wentao Yan is an assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NUS, starting from August 2018. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University and also a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, in the USA. He received his Ph.D. degree at Tsinghua University, Beijing in 03/2017. From 10/2014 to 03/2017, he was a joint Ph.D. student at Northwestern University. He got his Bachelor degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2012.
