
CDE has been ranked #9 in the world for Engineering in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025 by Subject. The latest ranking matches the College’s 2024 position, cementing CDE’s reputation among the world’s leading Engineering schools.
THE’s ranking, which focuses on academic and research excellence, is a testament to the hard work of the CDE community, which continues to inspire, innovate, and transform our world for the better.
According to THE, the ranking highlights the universities that are leading across the disciplines of general engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, civil engineering, and chemical engineering.
For the 2025 rankings, THE surveyed 1,488 institutions from 97 countries and territories.
In the THE’s latest rankings as a whole, NUS is ranked in the global top 25 in nine out of the 10 subject categories.
