Congratulations to Prof. Li Jun and his team for their latest publication in Science Advances 2020, 6, no. 31, eabc2148. The team developed a novel and powerful platform enabling precise control of molecular architectures and rapid optimization of gene delivery vehicles in vitro and in vivo for therapeutic gene delivery and targeted cancer therapy.  

Assistant Professor Andy Tay has been selected as the sole recipient of the 2020 Chiabrera Award for Excellence in Bioelectromagnetics. He gave a virtual talk on 10th July to members from the Bioelectromagnetics Society and European BioElectromagnetics Association. Dr Tay is the first recipient from Asia to receive this award.

The team developed a novel supramolecular thermoresponsive hydrogel involving dual self-assemblies between cyclodextrins and polymers. Congratulations to Dr. Andy Tay on receiving the 2019/2020 Singapore Commonwealth Fellowship in Innovation. He is one of two awardees of this competitive award. Andy is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, and he is elected based on his community service in improving youth mental well-being in Singapore.
