CFI made its debut at the Singapore International Water Week 2024, highlighting its inaugural participation with key industry partnerships. More than 30,000 trade visitors were expected to attend SIWW 2024, making it one of the largest expos tackling urban water and associated climate challenges.

CFI Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore Water Association (SWA) and Forum for Climate Change Adaptation (FCCA), with the aim to synergize expertise from both academia and industry. In addition, Ms. Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, also announced eight new Tranche 2 research projects under CFI Singapore.

Over the four-day exhibition, CFI's management team contributed as panel speakers at several roundtable discussions and seminars on coastal protections and flood resiliency. CFI Singapore also showcased its Tranche 1 research projects, sparking keen partnership interest among both local and international trade visitors.
