The seminar was jointly organised by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, NUS. Many insightful perspectives were shared on the latest understanding of climate change in Singapore and Southeast Asia, as well as government strategies, research overview at CFI (Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute Singapore), and industrial innovations. The speakers were Dr. Aurel Moise from the Centre for Climate Research Singapore, National Environmental Agency, Mr. Ho Chai Teck, Coastal Protection Department, Public Utilities Board (PUB), Professor Koh Chan Ghee from National University of Singapore (NUS), and Mr. Yang Zi Qian, Delta Marine Consultants Singapore Pte Ltd. A total of about 30 participants attended this event.
