Growing Up Green is about bringing green-consciousness into the lives of kindergarten-going children in Singapore through community gardening. To ensure the sustainability of the service and to heighten impact on the children, a concise and dynamic curriculum was conceived. The GrowBox was also designed to facilitate the children’s learning. It functions as seating for children, to be used during the gardening sessions. After the sessions end, the GrowBoxes can be stacked up to become a vertical garden.
There are many villages in the most remote corners of the Earth unexposed to the external
forces of materialism and globalisation. These cultures play an important role in maintaining a
balance in our world and hence there is a need to preserve them.
The project aims to increase the understanding of untouched world cultures through design.
Through research of available iterative systems and a synthesis of conceived ideas for an
ideal situation for heritage-driven tourism, a closed loop system that allows for the villages to
lead a sustainable lifestyle through the sale of co-designed products was created.

Taking inspiration from rudimentary lines found in everyday things, RUDI is a lamp that comes in the form of a simple frame. Crafted from a single sheet of metal folded at a few angles, it is paired with a maple wood base to give it a warm disposition.
