01 Brock

Designed with close attention to a child’s emotional needs, Brock brings back the joy of spontaneity lost in the physical education setting for the child with visual impairment.

The impeded motion of the weighted ball grants meaningful opportunities for a child to succeed at kicking and dribbling independently, without it rolling far out of reach.

It houses a spring mechanism with bells which generates sound that resonates beyond kicking, allowing the child to locate and receive the ball, facilitating success of interactive games.

02 Interlace

Interlace transpired from the notion of creating a space that coalesces the qualities of enclosure and openness. A harmonious sense of balance is achieved through the juxtaposition of visual lightness and strength.

The structure is punctuated with boxes that contribute to structural integrity and aesthetics, serving as lighting and product displays.

Its outward appearance invites visual curiosity, highlighting moments of opacity and transparency when viewed at different angles. Composed of several units, the design facilitates construction/deconstruction and multiple spatial configurations.

03 Step Into Fund

Step Into Fund is a campaign aimed to raise awareness for a worthy cause and to encourage selfish givers to donate. Situated in the SMRT train system, it offers a convenient platform to donate while providing an engaging and entertaining traveling experience. The campaign consists of multiple touchpoints within the station, informing donors about the cause. It is transferrable to a variety of causes and is supported through sponsorships, granting corporations opportunities to promote corporate social responsibility.

04 Mera

Drawing inspiration from a flat plane that acquires form and volume through slits and bends, Mera is a fruit bowl realised from a single sheet of stainless steel comprising slits positioned to produce ribs when bent. The ribs serve both aesthetics and function, creating surfaces that allow fruits to rest upon while allowing light and air into the open volumes. Subtle reflections of light from the surface make it appealing whether filled with fruits or simply displayed by itself.
