Zip is a minimalist, space-saving desk lamp-cum-bookstand. The books give Zip the structural stability it needs as well as its unique design aesthetic. Fabricated by laser cutting, the stainless steel sheet is then bent to calculated angles and finished off with an ash gray powder coat.
Starting with three primary colours, Hexicolour gives users the freedom to mix and match, changing its illumination with each connection. Using Arduino, an open-source programming platform, allows for colour changing communication among the three Hexicolour modules.
