01 NEST Shower Chair

Showering provides a unique platform for parent-child interaction that contributes to their holistic well-being. The NEST Shower Chair provides adolescents with severe cerebral palsy access to these benefits by lowering their entry barrier into the activity of showering. It provides a simple and efficient way of transferring the child from the bed to the shower chair and alleviates physical burden on the caregiver. This enables caregivers to direct their attention to interacting with the child rather than on procedural duties.

02 Stik

Stik is a laptop cleaning kit integrated within a laptop stand. Current laptop cleaning kits exist as separate objects when taken out of their packaging and are therefore aliens to the desktop ecosystem, adding clutter to the table while being easily misplaced. Designed based on user needs in the domain of work space organisation and laptop cleanliness, Stik is a simple yet innovative solution that fits into contemporary lifestyles.

03 Toshiba Mood Series

From field observations, many target users have distracting and cluttered environments when TV watching, often with primitive interior lighting that detract from a comfortable and cinematic experience.

The 'Mood' series are TVs with an in-built ambient lamp system that gives users control over the light set-up surrounding the watching experience. Having a 'Mood' TV is akin to a home-cinema set-up, complete with environment lighting presets that help to cut out unwanted visual distraction, that are designed for a more immersive experience.

04 Breathe Smoke Evacuator

Breathe is a Smoke Evacuator that removes smoke emitted during laser surgery. Developed through a close working relationship between medical staff and engineers over many iterations of prototyping and user testing, Breathe's hands-free system allows nurses and surgeons to channel greater focus towards the operation, while clear feedback is given via an improved interface. A streamlined cartridge system allows for easy maintenance on site.
