In-between explores the concept of transitory moments incorporated as cues of usage. The series of objects looks at in-betweens that are often overlooked, including a door handle that informs if you have locked the door, a keyhole that glows as you approach it, and a flush button that gradually rises after use, indicating the water level in the tank.
Based on a future where devices are increasingly designed to express information in the tonality of the message’s emotional content, SWEEP is a pocket watch designed to express the fragility and preciousness of time and its passing. As the day unfolds, fur bits fall off the watch face to represent the proportion of time that is left for the day. Yet, the next morning, it starts with a full coat once again. Melancholic and sweet, all at the same time.

Ohm Sweet Ohm is an innovative system that has been specially designed for HDB households, and allows you to monitor and save electricity together with your family members. Using the exiting technology of home energy meters, it displays information about electricity consumption and highlights wastage, which occurs when standby power is detected. Users in the household are alerted when wastage in individual rooms occurs, and can shut down all the electricity in that room with one tap.
