The Integrated Circuits and Embedded Systems area is actively seeking potential candidates with the following requisites:
- Strong research background in areas including (but not limited to) system on chip and computer architectures for ultra-low power systems, non-von Neumann architectures, algorithm-architecture VLSI co-design, accelerator-enriched systems on a chip, networks on chip,  analog circuits for distributed sensing and signal processing, ultra-low power / signal-aware / always-on monitoring, data converters, mixed-signal circuits, and smart sensor interfaces for cyber-physical systems, with emphasis on cross-disciplinary topics such as hardware security and artificial intelligence.
- Possess rigorous theoretical foundations in topics such as integrated circuit design, computer architecture, hardware security and artificial intelligence, as well as the ability to translate theories and concepts to applications in the aforementioned application areas.
- Able to set up outstanding research program and contribute towards major collaborative programs in engineering.
