ECE Shannon Study Award
The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department currently offers the ECE Shannon Study Award to top electrical engineering (EE) students based on their University Admission Score, starting from the AY2024/2025 intake. The award comes with the following benefits:
- S$15,000 allowance, of which S$7,500 will be disbursed to the award recipient in the 1st semester of study, and another S$7,500 will be disbursed in the 5th semester of study in the EE programme.
- There is no bond attached to the award.
The award recipient must pursue EE programme during the tenure of this award, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5, and must not be subject to any disciplinary action for continuation of the 2nd disbursement. In addition, the award recipient may not, without the approval of the University, concurrently hold any other scholarship or study award during their undergraduate studies (Note: ECE Shannon Award can be held concurrently with CDE Masters Award). Award recipients should also be committed to serve the ECE Department in various student life, outreach, and alumni activities/roles.
No application is needed for this study award as it is merit-based (good ‘A’ level, Poly, IB, NUS High results) and will be awarded to deserving Singaporean students.
