Presidential Young Professorship

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications from talented young academics with excellent research track record to apply for tenure-track Presidential Young Professorship positions. Successful candidates will join the ECE Department as tenure-track Assistant Professors.

The ECE Department is one of the largest in the university, with over 75 tenure-track and educator-track faculty and 2000 undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students. It is a research-intensive department and our faculty, research staff, and students are engaged in cutting-edge research activities that span a diversity of areas. These include Communications & Networks; Control, Intelligent Systems & Robotics; Integrated Circuits & Embedded Systems; Power & Energy Systems; Microelectronic Technologies & Devices; Microwave & RF; and Signal Analysis & Machine Intelligence.

We have eight positions to fill and the ECE Department is interested in outstanding candidates in all ECE-related areas, for all levels of tenured and tenure-track positions. Candidates for senior positions should have an established record of outstanding, recognized research achievements, and demonstrated evidence of thought leadership in their area.

Salary is highly competitive and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include medical insurance and annual leave.  Housing benefits, including subsidized on-campus housing, will be provided where applicable.
