Educator Track Faculty Positions

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for Educator Track faculty positions at Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer ranks. The ECE Department is one of the largest in the University, with over 75 Tenure Track and Educator Track faculty and 2000 undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.

Education is a core mission of the NUS, and the Educator Track of faculty positions has been conceived as a career progression path for excellent teachers and educational leaders. In NUS, the general expectations for commitments to teaching for an academic staff on Educator Track is up to 2 times the normal teaching commitment of a Tenure Track staff, although the precise teaching commitment is decided on a case-by-case basis depending on the needs of the Department. For Educator Track faculty, some record of disciplinary research (particularly research that informs teaching) is considered an advantage but not a requirement.

We have multiple positions to fill and the ECE Department is interested in outstanding candidates in all ECE-related areas. Candidates with expertise in areas related to artificial intelligence and machine learning, software systems and programming languages, and computer engineering will have an advantage.

Salary is highly competitive and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include medical insurance and annual leave.  Housing benefits, including subsidized on-campus housing, will be provided where applicable.
