AY25/26 NUS IEEE-HKN Sem 2 Back-to-school Internal Bonding Session
On 22 January 2026, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter held its first internal bonding session of the semester. The event was meant to allow members to catch up and interact with one another after one semester, and to provide members a platform to share about their technical pursuits with the club.
NUS IEEE-HKN IT & Electrical Workshop with St John Brigade
On 31 January 2026, the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Lambda Omega Chapter of NUS conducted a half-day IT & Electrical Workshop on campus for secondary school students from St John Brigade Singapore.

The IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) NUS Chapter hosted a Welcome Tea on 28 January 2026 to kick off the AY2025/26 Semester 2 NUS ECE Peer Tutoring Scheme.
Valentine’s Day
The day before Valentine’s Day, the ECE Club invited fellow ECE students to decorate keychains and make pipe cleaner craft, whether for someone special or as a gift for themselves, at E4-04-04.
Rising Star Award in the Low-Altitude Economy Innovation Challenge
Congratulations to Asst Prof Zhao Lin’s students — Rui Huang (Ph.D., ECE), Xin Chen (part-time M.Sc. in Robotics and full-time Research Engineer), Zhiqian Cai (M.Sc., Engineering Design and Innovation Centre), and Zhenyu Zhang (M.Sc., CEG) — on receiving the Rising Star Award in the Low-Altitude Economy Innovation Challenge organized by Meituan Academy of Robotics Shenzhen, at the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), Hangzhou, China, during Oct 20~OCt 24, 2025.
Visit to A*Star Industry
The A*STAR Industry Engagement Initiative on 30 Jan 26 was organized by the ECE Club to expose students to real-world research and industrial practice beyond classroom theory. Through engagements with A*STAR, students gained insight into how Electrical and Computer Engineering concepts translate into national-scale R&D.
