Dr Jin Yueming from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS) has been awarded the Robert Brown Promising Researcher Award under the Ministry of Education (MOE) Academic Research Fund (AcRF) Tier 2 Grant Call.

Mr. Soumyadeep Dhar, a student from the Internship and Research Immersion in Singapore (IRIS)@NUS programme, mentored by Associate Professor Mehul Motani (Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS), has achieved a significant research milestone.

Professor Ang Kah Wee from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore has been appointed Associate Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Electron Device Letters (EDL), a leading international journal in the field of electron devices and semiconductor technology.

Dr Zhao Zhenyu, Lecturer at NUS Electrical and Computer Engineering, together with Associate Professor Kye Yak See, has published a new book titled “Electrically Contactless Online Impedance Measurement: Theory and Applications” with IEEE-Wiley. The hardcover edition is scheduled for release on 15 July 2026.

Satellite Technology and Research (STAR)’s multidisciplinary undergraduate team, comprising Sai Wai Phyo (EE Y1), Nathan Bong Neng Quan (CEG Y1), and Alvin Tan Yean Liang (EE Y2), successfully launched their first low-altitude demonstrator payload from West Coast Park on 29 March 2026.

On 22 January 2026, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter held its first internal bonding session of the semester. The event was meant to allow members to catch up and interact with one another after one semester, and to provide members a platform to share about their technical pursuits with the club.
