The session began with updates from the Executive Committee on upcoming activities, including the Alumni Sharing Session, technical workshops and potential collaborations planned for the academic year.
This was followed by a 50-minute SEP/NOC sharing session featuring three HKN seniors and one E-Scholar senior, who shared their personal experiences, insights and advice on participating in overseas programmes. Drawing from their own experiences, the speakers offered practical perspectives on preparing for SEP/NOC, making the most of the experience and navigating life overseas. The sharing concluded with a Q&A session, allowing members to seek advice and have their questions addressed.

The remainder of the session was dedicated to internal bonding, with members gathering over pizza and soft drinks in a relaxed and informal setting. Conversations spanned academics, student life and internship experiences, giving members an opportunity to get to know one another beyond their academic pursuits.
The event marked a positive start to the Chapter’s activities for AY26/27, bringing together members across different years and experiences. Through activities such as these, the Chapter looks forward to building a welcoming, supportive and connected community throughout the academic year.
