Ahead of its repair sessions after recess week, NUS Bitscraps conducted a three-part training series to equip members with the practical skills needed to diagnose and repair electronic devices. Designed to build progressively from fundamental electronics skills to hands-on troubleshooting, the sessions also introduced new members to the club’s approach to electronics repair. Held at the CDE Linear Electronics Lab (E4A-06-03), all three sessions were designed for members regardless of prior experience.

On 18 September 2026, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter organised an Alumni Sharing Session, bringing together current NUS ECE students and seniors from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. The session provided students with an opportunity to learn from the speakers’ experiences at NUS, explore different pathways beyond university, and gain practical insights into career and personal development.

On 7 September 2026, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter held its first internal bonding session of the academic year, together with a Student Exchange Programme (SEP) and NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) Sharing Session. The event provided members with an opportunity to learn from seniors about overseas study and internship experiences, while fostering connections among newly inducted and existing Chapter members.

On 27 August 2026, the NUS Chapter of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) hosted a Welcome Tea to kick off the AY2025/26 Semester 1 NUS ECE Peer Tutoring Scheme.

On 5 September 2026, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter of NUS inducted 32 new members to the honor society. These inductees have demonstrated the core pillars of IEEE-HKN, Scholarship, Character, and Attitude through their journey as Electrical and Computer Engineering students at NUS.

The NUS Electrical and Computer Engineering Undergraduate Student Council (ECE USC) hosted its Freshmen Welcome Party at The Lodge, bringing together approximately 180 incoming freshmen and 20 academic advisors for an evening of introductions, interaction and community building.

On 15 April, the IEEE-HKN NUS Chapter organised an Appreciation Ceremony to express our heartfelt gratitude to the peer tutors of the AY2025/26 Semester 2 NUS ECE Peer Tutoring Scheme.

On 26 March 2026, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter held its second internal bonding session of the semester. The event was meant to allow members to catch up and interact with one another, and to provide a time for them to recharge and relax before the submissions and finals period.

Mr. Chang Xu, a graduate student from the research group of Professor Hyunsoo Yang at NUS ECE, has been awarded the Best Student Oral Presentation Award at the 2026 IEEE International Magnetics Conference (INTERMAG 2026) held in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Mr. Soumyadeep Dhar, a student from the Internship and Research Immersion in Singapore (IRIS)@NUS programme, mentored by Associate Professor Mehul Motani (Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS), has achieved a significant research milestone.
