The winning project entitled “Trans-SVNet: Hybrid Embedding Aggregation Transformer for Surgical Workflow Analysis” is an AI system which can accurately recognize and anticipate the surgical phase, which is important and fundamental to provide cognitive assistance to surgeons to enhance surgical safety.
