AI Speech Lab led by Prof Li Haizhou of NUS ECE Dept – Innovative research on AI Speech recognition system

An artificial intelligence (AI) speech recognition system that understands different languages, including Singlish and dialects, could someday save lives! This exciting innovative research conducted by the team at the AI Speech Lab located at our NUS campus is led by NUS Engineering researcher Prof Li Haizhou and his NTU counterpart. The AI system is set to be tested by the Singapore Civil Defence Force soon.
