Award-Winning ECE Teachers & Educators

Congratulations to faculty members from ECE Department who received the AY2018/2019 Engineering Educator Award, Faculty Teaching Excellence Award and Engineering Innovative Teaching Award (individual and/or team), for their consistent and effective contributions to education in engineering.

Both awards are conferred by NUS Engineering – the Engineering Educator and Excellent Teaching Awards recognize educators for exceptional teaching, and the Innovative Teaching Awards (team and individual) recognize new and creative methods in engineering education.

Besides the Faculty level educator and teaching awards, four of ECE faculty members namely Dr. Luo Sha, Dr. Rajesh Panicker, Dr. Sangit Sasidhar and Associate Professor Soh Wee Seng also received the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) conferred by the University for Academic Year 2018/19.

The NUS Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) is awarded by the University to faculty members who have displayed a high level of commitment to their teaching for the year under review.

It recognizes teachers who have excelled in their profession and serve as an indication of the importance the institution accords to high quality teaching by identifying the results that the University’s teaching practices aim to strive for.
