The Electrical Engineering and the Computer Engineering programmes have adopted this undergraduate curriculum structure for students enrolled from August 2025 onwards. Students will read a total of 160 Units (or the equivalent of 40 courses), as shown in the following schema: | ![]() |
The Common Curriculum has been jointly developed with industry partners. It seeks to integrate knowledge and skillsets across the broad disciplines of engineering and design, equipping students with essential 21st-century competencies. The following pillars make up the Common Curriculum, comprising 40 Units (or the equivalent of 10 courses): | ![]() |
The Major requirements comprise 80 Units or the equivalent of 20 courses.
The remaining 10 courses under Unrestricted Electives allow you to build your own programme, e.g., you can do a second Major, 2 Minors, a Minor and a Specialisation, or go deeper into your Major by taking more Technical Electives.
