Programme Requirements
A) Graduate Certificate in Internet of Things / Graduate Certificate in Robotics and Automation
Admission | The programme is open to graduates with relevant undergraduate degree and/or work experience. |
Award of Graduate Certificate | A Graduate Certificate will be awarded to candidates who obtained the stipulated number of Units, with each course having at least 2 Units with a GPA (Grade Point Average) of at least 2.5 (out of a range of 0 to 5) within a maximum candidature of 3 years.
The requirement for the award of GCs are;

Award of Certificate of Participation | Candidates who do not take examinations or fail to attain a GPA of at least 2.5 will be given a Certificate of Participation listing those courses which have been taken with at least 75% attendance. |
Per Course Contact Hours | The contact hours for a 2-Unit course will be between 18 – 20 hours in total, which include lectures, quizzes, projects and assessments. |

Programmes Fees | The current fee for each course is $2900 (subject to GST). Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are entitled to course fee subsidies under the SSG (Skills Future) for courses that are approved by SSG. These subsidies are all subject to SSG’s terms and conditions. SSG-Funding – Learners must pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding. Please note that SSG funding for courses is limited in duration and subject to availability. |
B) Graduate Certificate in Semiconductor Yield and Failure Analysis / Graduate Certificate in Semiconductor Packaging and Test Engineering / Graduate Certificate in Semiconductor Supply Chain and Demand Operations
Admission | The programme is open to graduates with bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in STEM. |
Award of Graduate Certificate | A Graduate Certificate will be awarded to candidates who obtained the stipulated number of Units amounting to 8 units of the specified Graduate Certificate, with each course having at least 4 Units with a GPA (Grade Point Average) of at least 2.5 (out of a range of 0 to 5) within a maximum candidature of 3 years.
The requirement for the award of GCs are;
There will be no continuation requirements. Candidates may repeat modules which they obtained a grade of C or below [with fees] to improve GPA provided max candidature (3 years) is not yet exceeded. |
Award of Certificate of Participation | Candidates who do not take examinations or fail to attain a GPA of at least 2.5 will be given a Certificate of Participation listing those courses which have been taken with at least 70% attendance. |
Per Course Contact Hours | The contact hours for a 4-Unit course will be 40 hours in total, which include lectures, quizzes, projects and assessments. |

Programmes Fees | The current fee for each course is $5800 (subject to GST). |
Admission to MSc (STO) programme | Those who have been awarded a GC(STO) and with a GPA of at least 3.0 will be offered the option of enrolling in the MSc (STO) programme. This is subject to fulfilling the MSc admission requirement.
Candidates with a GC (STO) with a GPA of at least 3.0 may subject to the approval of the programme host transfer credits with grades earned to the MSc (STO) programme within 5 years of attaining it. Individual course to be transferred must be relevant and has at least a grade B- (or above). |
