MMIC Modeling and Package Laboratory

The MMIC Modeling and Package Laboratory focuses on RF/microwave integrated circuit design and active/ passive device modeling, including:

  • High-power MMIC modeling and design
  • Modeling and characterization of passive and active microwave and RF components
  • LTCC based SiP components and sub-systems
  • RF and microwave components and systems design
  • Antenna bandwidth enhancement and size miniaturization techniques
  • Applications of antenna and microwave in biomedical technology
  • Interconnect characterization of RF/Microwave/Millimeter-Wave Passive Circuits

Facilities:

MMIC Laboratory supports broad range of high frequency microwave research and teaching activities. It houses some high-end complex and versatile instruments such as HP 85124A Pulsed Modeling System up to 50 GHz, R&S VNA up to 110 GHz and radiation pattern measurement system.
