Professor Guo Yongxin from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS has been elected as a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) for 2022-2024. The IEEE AP-S Distinguished Lecturer Program recognizes experts who are outstanding in their field. During his appointment, Prof. Guo will share his research expertise in antennas and wireless power with engineers and researchers worldwide.
Prof. Guo is a Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore. Currently, he serves as Editor-in-Chief, IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwave in Medicine and Biology. Prof. Guo’s main research interests include RF sensing, antennas, and electromagnetics in medicine; wireless power for biomedical applications and internet of things; wideband and small antennas for wireless communications; and RF and microwave circuits and MMIC modelling and design.Â
