ECE faculty members among the 2018 Highly Cited Researchers published by Clarivate Analytics

3 ECE faculty members and 1 ECE Research Fellow have been named among the world’s most highly cited researchers in the latest 2018 Highly Cited Researcher report published by Clarivate Analytics.

Congratulations to Prof. Ge Shuzhi Sam, Assoc. Prof. Yan Shuicheng, Assoc. Prof. Zhang Rui and Dr. Liu Liang from ECE Department who are among the 14 researchers from The Faculty of Engineering and among the overall 30 researchers from NUS who are in the 2018 report.

2 of the ECE faculty, Prof. Ge Shuzhi and Assoc. Prof Zhang Rui listed in the 2016 and 2017 reports are among the top again in 2018.

The annual list of Highly Cited Researchers acknowledges researchers with multiple papers ranking in the top one per cent by citations for their field and year. This year, a new cross-field category has been introduced to acknowledge researchers with substantial influence in several fields, breaking through the artificial walls of conventional disciplinary categories to keep the Highly Cited Researchers list contemporary and relevant.
