Fellow of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) – Professor Li Haizhou

Prof. Li Haizhou was elected as the Fellow of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) on 3 September 2018 for his contributions to multilingual speech information processing. ISCA is the largest professional organization for speech communication, science and technology that has more than 3000 members internationally. ISCA Fellow Program recognizes and honors outstanding members who have made significant contributions to the fields. It selects up to one-third percent of the total ISCA membership as Fellows. Prof. Li received the fellowship during the opening ceremony of INTERSPEECH 2018 conference together with 5 other new fellows. Prof. Li specializes in speech information processing and natural language processing. He is also the Past President of ISCA (2015-2017), and an IEEE Fellow. He received the President’s Technology Award 2013 in Singapore.
