The NUS (Lambda Omega) Chapter of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) proudly inducted 32 outstanding ECE undergraduates into its prestigious ranks. As the international honor society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Eta Kappa Nu recognizes students who embody the highest standards of Scholarship, Character, and Attitude—values that define both personal and professional excellence.
The induction ceremony, held on 14th September 2024, was led by Chapter President Ho Wei Hao and graced by faculty advisor Ms. Nicole Phua. During the ceremony, the new members were reminded of IEEE-HKN’s core mission: to foster excellence in the fields of electrical and computer engineering, and to nurture a community committed to service, leadership, and innovation.
Each inductee took a solemn oath to uphold the ideals of the society before signing the Chapter Membership Book and receiving their official certificates—a symbolic and memorable moment marking their journey as Eta Kappa Nu members.
The department extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the new inductees for this significant achievement. Their academic accomplishments, strong character, and commitment to hard work have earned them a place in this distinguished society.
