We are pleased to announce the launch of a new coursework programme, Masters of Science (Computer Engineering).
The first intake will be for August 2022, and application will begin from 23 January 2022.
The MSc (Computer Engineering) programme aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills involving design and required hardware, firmware & software for implementation. The programme is designed for those who wish to pursue specialized areas in computer engineering, currently employed researchers and technical personnel working in related industries, those who aspire to align themselves towards digitalization efforts in Singapore, personnel who wish to transform their business strategies onto digital platforms, etc.
In brief, the programme requires candidates to complete 10 modules (40 MCs) including a selection of compulsory modules. The programme provides two distinct pathways – one with specialization in a certain area and a general pathway with no specialization. We will offer relevant modules categorized into three important specializations that are of imminent demand under digitalization efforts. These include, Digitalization and Communication Technologies, Computing Hardware Infrastructure, and Machine Intelligence and Applications.
In addition, for those who enrol in specialization pathway the programme requires candidates to carry out a mandatory industry-led and/or NUS project towards completing the degree requirements.
Full description of the curriculum structure, description of these specializations, and individual modules, can be found at our programme webpage: https://cde.nus.edu.sg/ece/graduate/msc-computer-engineering/
