NUS IEEE-HKN Internal Bonding Session and SEP/NOC Sharing

On 11 September 2025, the IEEE-HKN Lambda Omega Chapter held its first internal bonding session of the AY, along with an SEP/NOC Sharing. Intended to provide members an opportunity to share and learn about their SEP/NOC experiences and opportunities, the event also served as a platform for the club’s newly inducted members to interact with their seniors.

The session began with the 45-minute SEP/NOC sharing. This featured four HKN seniors sharing their experiences and giving advice to an eager audience. This was followed by a Q&A session, where members, many of whom were setting out on their own SEP/NOC application process, got answers for their questions. Following this, the club’s Executive Committee shared more about upcoming club events, such as the Alumni Sharing, Technical Workshops and a collaboration.

The rest of the session was set aside for the Internal Bonding. To break the ice, a quick bingo game was played, with members mixing around to sign one another’s sheets. Attendees then engaged in casual conversation over pizza and soft drinks. Their topics of discussion varied widely, from academics and student life to internship experiences. This segment’s program was entirely unstructured, with attendees free to mingle with whoever they wanted, as they were comfortable.

The Lambda Omega Chapter would like to thank all those who came down for the event for their active participation. We hope that you were able to form bonds and connect with your fellow club members, and promise that we will continue to foster an inclusive and supporting community in the Chapter.
