Professor Guo Yongxin has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology for a term of 3 years. He will be resuming duty on 1 August 2020.

IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology is a flagship journal co-sponsored by IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) and IEEE Sensors Council. IEEE Sensors Council consists of 26 IEEE societies with more than 260,000 IEEE members. Therefore, this journal is visible to more than half of the IEEE members of more than 400,000 IEEE members in over 160 countries worldwide.
Professor Guo has also been appointed as Member of IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Fellow Evaluation Committee (2019-2020). The committee is responsible for the Society’s evaluation of Fellow nominations being considered by the IEEE Fellow Committee.
The appointment as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology and a Member of the IEEE EMBS Fellow Evaluation Committee recognizes Professor Guo’s technical leadership in the field of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine.
