Professor Wong Chee Wei – New Faculty Appointment – Electrical and Computer Engineering

We are pleased to welcome Professor Wong Chee Wei to NUS – Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Professor Wong Chee Wei has been appointed a Visiting Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering under the Globalfoundries Singapore Pte Ltd Professorship in Engineering effective 1 August 2019. He has been the Tannas Professor of Engineering at the University of California at Los Angeles since 2014. Prior to that, he was a tenured faculty member at Columbia University. His research interests include precision, quantum, and ultrafast optical measurements in mesoscopic systems. He has been elected a Fellow of multiple societies, and is a recipient of several honours/awards/prizes including the NIH Trailblazer Award, DARPA Young Faculty Award, NSF CAREER Award, Google Faculty Award and 3M Faculty Award.
