Dr Chua Soo Jin, (蔡树仁) Professor Emeritus, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS)

Dr Soo-Jin Chua joined the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Singapore, the predecessor of the National University of Singapore, in 1978. In subsequent years while serving as an academic staff in NUS, he concurrently served in various capacities in research organizations as listed in the section below on “other related experiences”. His research area is in III-Nitrides grown by MOCVD, ZnO grown by hydrothermal synthesis, and fabrication of optoelectronic devices such as semiconductor lasers and optical waveguide components and applications of nanostructures and plasmonics in Optoelectronics.
