ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Program Director, Satellite Technology and Research Centre (STAR@NUS)

Ankit SRIVASTAVA is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) under the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) at National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also Program Director and one of the founding members of the Satellite Technology and Research Centre at NUS (STAR@NUS). Before assuming his current role, he served as a Research Fellow at STAR@NUS and Research Associate at the Satellite Research Centre (SaRC) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Specializing in embedded software design and development for small satellites, Ankit has played a pivotal role in the successful launches of Velox-C1, Velox-II, and Lumelite-4 satellites. In addition to his contributions to the satellite technology, he has been actively involved in mentoring and supervising students at both NUS and NTU.

Ankit received Master of Science in Embedded Systems from the School of Computer Engineering (SCE) at NTU and Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from National Institute of Technology-Calicut. His areas of interest encompass Distributed Computing and Embedded Systems in Space Technology.
