NUS Bitscraps is a dynamic student-led interest group with a passion for electronics repair and sustainability. They aim to promote a “repair before replace” mindset, inspiring students to dive into hands-on electronics and hardware repair while championing environmental responsibility.

At Bitscraps, students are empowered with practical skills like soldering, debugging, and circuit analysis—all learned through fun, collaborative weekly repair sessions and workshops. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned tinkerer, Bitscraps offers a stress-free environment to explore, learn, and innovate.

Each semester, the group also hosts exciting events, from donation drives to hackathons, connecting the community while advancing the cause of sustainability.

 

Founded in 2001, The NUS Electrical and Computer Engineering Club (ECE Club) is a student-led organisation serving the well-being of the ECE student body. Every academic year, motley events such as welfare pack giveaways, industrial visits, bonding sessions and many more are held to enhance the ECE student life, be it in academics, future career or social networking. In addition, the annual ECE Camp welcomes ECE freshmen of the upcoming academic year and aims to ensure a smooth transition into university by organising talks and fun games.

IEEE – Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN) is the honour society of IEEE, dedicated to recognizing and fostering excellence in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and other IEEE-designated fields.

At NUS, the Lambda Omega Chapter focuses on promoting leadership, scholarship, and service within the IEEE community. The chapter offers academic support through tutoring, organizes technical events and competitions, and fosters professional development through talks, seminars, and networking events. Membership is a recognition of outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and service.

Through close faculty-student interactions and a student-led governance structure, members gain opportunities to develop essential skills beyond the classroom, preparing them for success in their careers.

NUS.AI (RC4AI) is established to allow students in NUS to learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its industry relevance. We currently operate as a cognito pod in RC4, under the title RC4AI.

The purpose of the club is to:

  • Generate interest in the field of AI among members of the club and the wider NUS student populace
  • Hone competencies in AI and spread awareness of industry implementation among members of the club
  • Render assistance to members of the club pertaining to the study and practice of AI
  • Engage in meaningful partnership with AISG to explore and charter apprenticeship or career opportunities for members of the club

IES NUS Student branch is an embodiment of the ideals and goals of a true engineer and strives to inculcate in its members a unique spirit of unparalleled education and fundamental ethos of engineering professionalism. It serves as a pivotal link between the main branch and the aspiring students here at NUS, in the process not only revealing the true nature of an engineer but at the same time allowing members to embody the spirit.

The club offers a wide range of interactive activities for its members to help them comprehend and understand the modern world’s demands of an engineer and simultaneously motivate them to embrace practicality and a sense of responsibility.

The College of Design and Engineering Club (CDE Club) is made up of a group of passionate individuals determined to make a positive impact on the student's experience here at CDE.

As the main faculty club, they hope to not just enrich the lives of fellow students but also foster a strong sense of community and camaraderie within the faculty. On top of that, the club stands as a pillar of support and care for all students, serving as the unwavering voice for the masses.

The NUS Students’ Computing Club represents undergraduates in NUS School of Computing. Their mission is to provide support for all undergraduates during their stay at SoC. This is achieved by taking strides in efforts to enhance their welfare, provide leadership opportunities and provide liaising opportunities between the IT industry and them.
