SHANG Li

PROFESSOR

Li Shang is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Princeton University. Before joining NUS, he served as Deputy Director and Chief Architect of Intel Labs China and held faculty positions at Fudan University and the University of Colorado Boulder. His research lies at the intersection of computer systems and artificial intelligence, focusing on machine learning systems, embodied intelligence, VLSI and EDA. He has published more than 200 research papers and received multiple best paper awards and nominations. He is also a recipient of the U.S. National Science Foundation CAREER Award. In addition to his academic work, Professor Shang has founded two successful start-ups whose products have reached customers in more than 40 countries and regions worldwide.
