ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Dr. Tsang obtained his B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He held postdoctoral fellowships at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of New Mexico before moving to Singapore, where he is currently an Associate Professor and National Research Foundation Fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a joint appointment at the Department of Physics. His research interests include quantum measurement and control theory, quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and nano-optics.
