We are proud to announce that Professor Sam Ge has been elected as the new President of the Asian Control Association (ACA). The ACA, established over 30 years ago, continues to lead scientific exchange and advancements in control science and engineering across Asia and Oceania.
At the recent Asian Control Conference (ASCC), held in Dalian, China, from July 5-8, 2024, both Professor Sam Ge and Professor TH Lee, ACA Past President (2016-2017), were honored as inaugural ACA Fellows. This prestigious award recognizes their outstanding contributions to control science and engineering, and their pivotal roles in developing the Asia-Oceania region.
As President, Professor Ge aims to build on the ACA’s strong foundation, encouraging continued innovation and collaboration within the community. He looks forward to leading the ACA into its next chapter, including the upcoming ASCC in Bali, Indonesia, in 2026.
