Tenure Track Faculty Positions
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor ranks. The ECE Department is one of the largest in the University, with over 75 tenure-track and educator-track faculty and over 2000 undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.
ECE is a research-intensive department. Our faculty, research staff, and students are engaged in cutting-edge research activities that span a diversity of areas. These include Communications & Networks; Control, Intelligent Systems & Robotics; Integrated Circuits & Embedded Systems; Power & Energy Systems; Microelectronic Technologies & Devices; Microwave & RF; and Signal Analysis & Machine Intelligence.
The ECE Department and NUS are ranked among the world’s top by multiple rankings, and offer outstanding opportunities and state-of-the-art facilities for faculty and students to pursue cutting-edge research in diverse disciplines within an essentially a north-American education system. English is the medium of teaching, research and administration.
We have eight positions to fill and the ECE Department is interested in outstanding candidates in all ECE-related areas, for all levels of tenured and tenure-track positions. Candidates for senior positions should have an established record of outstanding, recognized research achievements, and demonstrated evidence of thought leadership in their area.
Salary is highly competitive and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include medical insurance and annual leave. Housing benefits, including subsidized on-campus housing, will be provided where applicable.
Applications
The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or an allied field, with credentials suitable for appointments at levels of Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. The candidate should be able to set up outstanding research program and contribute towards major collaborative programs in engineering.
