Students from NUS ECE and ME visited OMRON Automation Centre Singapore on 20 March 2023 to understand more about the industry workings of Robotics and Industry 4.0. Mr. Ganaventhan Thiagarajah, Assistant Manager briefed the NUS visitors on the OMRON factory automation. The tour later included the IoT Real Time remote monitoring and visualization of factory automation, and the Digital and Physical twins operational. The visit was a good opportunity for the students to understand the latest trends in robotics and Industry 4.0 related technologies.
